33 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 33 weeks!
Baby is the size of a: honeydew melon.
Total weight gain: about 24lbs.
Stretch marks? A few on my sides and one on my boob, but they’re not a big deal.
Maternity clothes? All the time or leggings/workout pants.
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice to go pee but going back to sleep right after.
Best moment this week: Celebrating Christmas and meeting with our doula
Miss anything? Still missing that beer or glass of wine
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!!
Labor signs: None this week.
Symptoms:  Pretty much the same as last week, nothing new or crazy.
Belly button in or out? Out unless I’m laying down on my back
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Seeing our little guy again on the 11th and meeting him!

We had our first prenatal appointment with our doula this week to go over our birth plan and talk about the pregnancy. We made some changes to the birth plan and we’ll meet again on January 18th to go over when to call her, what to pack and pain relief techniques.

I’ve been drinking one cup of Red Raspberry Leaf tea every day since 32 weeks to prep my uterus and plan to up it around 36/37 weeks.  I’m really curious if it’ll make a difference in the effectiveness of my contractions and length of labor.

We also bought more things to decorate Logan’s room this week and are pretty much done with his room except a mobile I want to make and getting curtains.  We’ll use Caleb’s crib mattress when Logan is ready to go in his room and get Caleb a full size mattress.  It’s funny how much more relaxed you are with prepping for baby number 2 and how you realize what’s a necessity and what’s not.  It’s still exciting, but you just feel more at ease and not in a rush to get things done.

32 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 32 weeks!
Baby is the size of a: squash.
Total weight gain: 20.2 lbs, I’m pretty happy with that!
Stretch marks? A few on my sides and one on my boob, but they’re not a big deal.
Maternity clothes? All the time or leggings/workout pants.
Sleep: Sleep has definitely gotten better this week, waking up once or twice to go pee but going back to sleep right after.
Best moment this week: celebrating an early Christmas with the Benson side of the family.  It’s so crazy to think Logan will be 10 months old this time next year.
Miss anything? Beer.... anything with alcohol.  Being pregnant with a toddler can be rough some days!
Food cravings: Nothing this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!!
Labor signs: None this week.
Symptoms:  No crazy symptoms this week, Logan is treating me pretty well.  Lots of elbows or knees are poking out lately and I can tell he’s running out of space.  I’ve experienced some leg and foot cramps this week.
Belly button in or out? Out unless I’m laying down on my back
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Christmas and meeting with our doula.

I had a prenatal appointment with my OB this week and everything went well.  He reassured me that Logan having one kidney shouldn’t impact my labor and delivery if everything else goes well.  I’ll go back in 2 weeks and then I believe every week after that.  We’re getting so close!

31 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 31 weeks!
Baby is the size of a: pineapple. Most babies at this stage are roughly 18 inches long and 3.5lbs, but our little moose weighs about 4lbs 7oz and is measuring 2 weeks ahead!
Total weight gain: I didn’t weigh myself this week.
Stretch marks? A few on my sides and one on my boob, but they’re not a big deal.  Chris said they’re my trophies and I’ll proudly wear them because they are the result of two amazing boys.
Maternity clothes? All the time or leggings/workout pants.
Sleep: Sleep was okay this week; I got a sinus infection this week so being congested didn’t allow me to get good sleep.
Best moment this week: We got to see Logan at our monthly ultrasound and he is so adorable. We are so excited to meet him in person.
I’m still getting lots of rolls and pushing body parts out on my belly.  He’s also been getting the hiccups multiple times a day.
Belly button in or out? Out unless I’m laying down on my back
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Christmas and meeting with our doula.

I’ve had two NST’s so far and we’ve passed both.  I just sit on a chair for about 30 minutes and they monitor Logan’s heart and make sure there are good accelerations and decelerations showing he’s not in distress. I haven’t had any contractions during the NST’s which is good.

We had our monthly ultrasound this week and Logan loved having his umbilical chord by his face.  He just looks so sweet and is measuring two weeks ahead! He is going to be a big boy and we’ll see if we make it to my due date. I think Logan will be born on February 7th, but we’ll see!

We also had our maternity pictures this week and we’re slowly getting sneak peaks. So far we love how they’re turning out and can’t wait to see the rest of them!  Next week we meet with our doula to go over our birth plan and I can’t believe how close we’re getting to meeting our second son!

30 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 30 weeks!
Baby is the size of a: cucumber... at least as long as one. He should be well over 3lbs by now
Total weight gain: According to my scale, I’ve lost a few ounces this week and I’m at 19.1lbs
Stretch marks? A couple light ones popping up in the same area (on my sides) I got them with Caleb. Also just discovered one on my boob.
Maternity clothes? All the time or leggings/workout pants.
Sleep: Sleep is getting difficult these days. I have a hard time falling asleep and I’m getting up multiple times a night to go pee.  I’m dreading pulling out my big maternity pillow, but think it’s time so I can try to get some restful sleep.
Best moment this week: This week was pretty uneventful considering our busy week last week.
Miss anything? Beer.... anything with alcohol.  Being pregnant with a toddler can be rough some days!
Food cravings: cold glasses of milk with dinner have been hitting the spot lately and I haven’t been a consistent milk drinker since high school.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!!
Labor signs: some Braxton Hicks, but nothing else.
Symptoms:  Heartburn has subsided this week, but I’m still gassy/burpy, always peeing. Logan still loves to push on my bladder and his movements are becoming more prominent.  Lots of rolls and pushing body parts out on my belly.  He’s also been getting the hiccups multiple times a day.
Belly button in or out? It’s mostly out these days unless I’m laying down.  It never popped out with Caleb so it’s pretty interesting to see it as an outtie.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Christmas, maternity pictures and meeting with our doula.

29 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 29 weeks!
Baby is the size of an: acorn squash.
Total weight gain: 19.6lbs
Stretch marks? A couple light ones popping up in the same area I got them with Caleb.
Maternity clothes? All the time or leggings/workout pants.
Sleep: Still waking up at least once at night to go pee.  Some insomnia after getting up to use the restroom or not being able to fall asleep once Chris gets home from work.
Best moment this week: Spending Thanksgiving with my mom and step dad in Arizona.
Miss anything? Beer.
Food cravings: None this week
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!!
Labor signs: I’ve had quite a few Braxton Hicks this week.
Symptoms:  Heartburn is becoming a daily/nightly occurrence, gassy/burpy, always peeing. Logan has enjoyed pushing on my bladder and making me feel like I need to pee every few minutes.
Belly button in or out? Sometimes it sticks out a little and other times it’s flush with my belly.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Christmas, maternity pictures and meeting with our doula.

I had my kidney and bladder ultrasound at exactly 29 weeks and I have both of my kidneys! I wasn’t told anything else by the ultrasound tech, but I should get the full report in a few days.  I’m anticipating Chris has both of his too, but we’ll see later this week.  Next week I have my first NST and another OB appointment.  After that appointment, OB appointments will be every 2 weeks until about 37 weeks when I’ll be going weekly.  Logan is as active as ever and I’ve been feeling lots of elbows/knees pushing out, rolls and hiccups.

28 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 28 weeks!
Baby is the size of an: eggplant
Total weight gain: I didn’t weigh myself this week.
Stretch marks? I’ve noticed a couple light ones popping up in the same area I got them with Caleb.
Maternity clothes? All the time or leggings/workout pants. My sister in law is letting me borrow some long sleeve maternity tops and dresses to get me through the winter.
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee; staying up too late, but I haven’t been that tired at night.
Best moment this week: We put Logan’s furniture together and some basket shelving up in Logan’s room, but we still have a ways to go before his room is done.
Miss anything? Beer.
Food cravings: None this week
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!!
Labor signs: None this week.
Symptoms:  Heartburn is becoming a daily/nightly occurrence, gassy/burpy, always peeing, but overall I feel pretty good.
Belly button in or out? Sometimes it sticks out a little and other times it’s flush with my belly.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: the holidays, maternity pictures and meeting with our doula.

I have all of my weekly NST’s scheduled starting at 30 weeks and going through 40 weeks.  Having all of these doctors appointments is overwhelming, but I’m thankful for the care and attention Logan is getting.  I have my kidney and bladder ultrasound scheduled for November 27th and I’m really curious if I have both kidneys.

At my last OB appointment, my belly was measuring at 28 weeks and my nurse practitioner thinks I’ll have Logan before 40 weeks. As long as I go into labor naturally and not too early, I’m okay with not going the full 40 weeks.  The last thing I want is to be induced and I’ll fight that as much as I can if I go past my due date.  Overall, things are going really well with the pregnancy and I don’t have any major complaints!

27 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 27 weeks!
Baby is the size of a: yellow turnip/cucumber.  About 15 inches long and well over 2lbs!
Total weight gain: 16.3 lbs
Stretch marks? I’ve noticed a couple light ones popping up in the same area I got them with Caleb.
Maternity clothes? All the time, or leggings/workout pants. I really need to get some more pants/tops for the winter but I have a hard time spending money on clothes I’ll only wear for a short time.
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee and I had a hard time falling back asleep after getting up to use the restroom.
Best moment this week: We got to see Logan at our first follow up ultrasound this week! And we bought his crib and dresser that’ll get set up later this week!
Miss anything? Beer.
Food cravings: I haven’t really craved anything lately, I’ve just been hungry more often but getting full faster.
Looking forward to: putting Logan’s furniture together in his room so I can start organizing a little bit more and my OB appt coming up.

We got to see Logan at 27 weeks 1 day! Oh my gosh does he look like Caleb! He already has chubby little cheeks, Caleb’s nose and sweet little lips.  He’s measuring a whole week ahead and weighs 2.6lbs already! Based on my pregnancy apps, most babies range from 1.9lbs to 2.2lbs at 27 weeks, so Logan is definitely not having a problem gaining weight.  He’s head down which is good news since he was laying transverse at our last ultrasound and my last OB appointment.  I was suspecting he moved because I felt him hiccuping low in my abdomen the other night.

Logan still looks great and my amniotic fluid is perfect.  His right kidney is functioning normally and there weren’t any other concerns during the ultrasound.  We got a really sweet picture of his face and after the ultrasound, we met with a genetic specialist.  The genetic specialist basically said Logan’s one kidney could be due to a fluke that just happened or it could be genetic.  She is going to put in for Chris and I to have renal ultrasounds to see if his one kidney could be genetic.  She offered an amniocentesis and blood screening to check for other genetic abnormalities, but the ones tested wouldn’t tell us why he has one kidney or any other disorders associated with one kidney, so we declined both.  I was concerned about a genetic disorder called Potters Sequence that’s more commonly associated with missing both kidneys, but can occur when the baby has one; however, the genetic specialist said that’s commonly due to low amniotic fluid and based on my fluid levels Logan isn’t at risk and to not worry about it.

So, we’ll continue to have monthly ultrasounds to check his kidney/renal function and have additional testing done when he’s born to confirm or eliminate any other abnormalities. We think he’ll be just fine when he’s born and if any other concerns arise when he’s here, we’ll deal with them one at a time!

26 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 26 weeks!
Baby is the size of a: head of lettuce; measurements are roughly the same- over a foot long (roughly 13 inches) and around 2 pounds!
Total weight gain: 15.8lbs
Stretch marks? I think I’ve noticed a few popping up on my sides, but it’s hard to tell if they’re new or not because they’re so light in color.  Either way, I’m not too bothered by them!
Maternity clothes? All the time or leggings/workout pants
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee and having some hip pain at night.
Best moment this week: Nothing really stands out this week, just feeling Logan move all the time is amazing.
Miss anything? Beer.
Food cravings: Nothing new this week, normal appetite
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!!
Labor signs: I think I’ve had a few Braxton Hicks contractions this week.
Symptoms: Occasional heartburn at night, gassy/burpy, some left hip pain this week, I had a migraine this week, and Logan likes to push on my bladder and it gives me the sensation that I always need to pee so that’s fun.
Belly button in or out? Sometimes it sticks out a little and other times it’s flush with my belly. I think it depends on Logan’s position.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: getting everything situated for Logan’s room, seeing the genetic specialist and Logan again on the 14th.

This week I’ve decided I don’t want a baby shower for several reasons... the main reason is we have the necessities for Logan.  Unfortunately for him, he’ll be getting a lot of hand me down clothes and toys so the last thing we need are more clothes and toys.  We saved all of the big items from when Caleb was a baby and our only needs are Logan’s crib, dresser and diapers/wipes.  If anyone wants to help or provide a gift, diapers and gift cards would be amazing.  But I don’t find it necessary to spend the money on invitations, decorations, food, drinks, favors etc. If we were having a girl, I’d feel differently but I think it’s silly to have a shower or “sprinkle” for another baby of the same gender as your first.

25 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 25 weeks!
Baby is the size of a: papaya or cauliflower head; officially over a foot long (roughly 13 inches) and around 2 pounds!
Total weight gain: I weighed myself the morning I turned 25 weeks to get my true weight and I’ve actually only gained 14.5lbs. Pretty happy about that!
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Maternity clothes? All the time or leggings/workout pants
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee and I’ve been dealing with a little bit of insomnia in the middle of the night.
Best moment this week: I felt Logan’s hiccups this week and put worship music on my belly buds for him to listen to.  He moved so much when Lauren Daigle came on and didn’t move much at all when a male artist sang.
Miss anything? Beer.
Food cravings: Nothing new this week, normal appetite
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!! This week while playing cars with Caleb, I got so excited about having another boy and thought to myself how much I enjoy playing with “boy” toys.  I’m so okay with having two boys.
Labor signs: None.
Symptoms: Occasional heartburn, but it hasn’t been too bad. Still waking up congested, lots of baby kicks/punches/rolls. Logan’s movements are getting stronger each day and he’s constantly moving.
Belly button in or out?  In, but getting shallower and shallower. Sometimes it sticks out a little and other times it’s flush with my belly. I think it depends on Logan’s position.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: decorating Logan’s room and seeing him again at our next ultrasound on the 14th!

Total weight gain: About 17
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Maternity clothes? All the time.
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee and I’ve been dealing with a little bit of insomnia in the middle of the night.
Best moment this week: We have our genetic specialist appointment scheduled for the same day as our next ultrasound, November 14th, and other than that nothing else has been happening.
Miss anything? Beer.
Food cravings: Nothing new this week, normal appetite; although I have been enjoying a glass of milk occasionally with dinner
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!!
Labor signs: None.
Symptoms: Occasional heartburn, but it hasn’t been too bad. Waking up congested, lots of baby kicks/punches/rolls.

Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: decorating Logan’s room and seeing him again at our next ultrasound.

My OB appointment was pretty uneventful. My regular OB wasn’t in so I had to see a different one, which didn’t bother me too much, but the OB I saw was awful and not personable at all.  He spent maybe 5 minutes with us and didn’t seem like he was that interested in what was going on with us.  Luckily he’s not my regular OB and I pray he’s not the attending physician when I go into labor.

Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee and usually after I get up to go pee, I have a hard time falling back asleep.
Best moment this week: We picked up a couple of items for Logan’s room and decided on a rustic woodland theme, with mostly moose decor.  We also have all of our follow up ultrasounds scheduled for the remainder of my pregnancy to check on Logan’s right kidney, but still waiting on an appointment with a genetic specialist.

22 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 22 weeks!
Baby is the size of a: depending on what app you look at, either a papaya or eggplant. Logan is roughly 12 inches and at our anatomy ultrasound at exactly 22 weeks, Logan was measuring 22 weeks and 3 days and weighed approximately 1.2 pounds.
Total weight gain: About 12.5 lbs.
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Maternity clothes? All the time.
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee and usually after I get up to go pee, I have a hard time falling back asleep.
Best moment this week: Seeing Logan at our anatomy ultrasound!
Miss anything? Beer.
Food cravings: Cereal, hot wings, spicy foods
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!!
Labor signs: None this week.
Symptoms: Occasional heartburn, but it hasn’t been too bad. My stomach has been pretty itchy and I’ve been putting lotion on like crazy.
Belly button in or out?  In, but I think it'll pop this pregnancy.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: decorating Logan’s room, our next OB appointment on the 26th and seeing our little man again.

At our anatomy scan this week, we discovered Logan is missing his left kidney and all renal function on that side. His right kidney appears to be healthy and my amniotic fluid was good, which is a good indication his right kidney is functioning properly.  It was pretty scary to hear he is missing a kidney, but thankfully we are born with two and only need one healthy kidney to survive.  Everything else is developing normally with Logan and we are so incredibly thankful he has a healthy heart and brain with no issues to his spinal cord.  We are being referred to a genetic specialist to make sure Logan’s lack of a kidney isn’t a result of a more serious issue or syndrome in addition to follow up ultrasounds every 4 weeks to make sure his right kidney continues to function and develop normally. Chris and I are also supposed to have ultrasounds done to see if we have both of our kidneys because although rare, it could be genetic.  We are hopeful that Logan will be perfectly healthy and live a normal life and if there are any other issues that arise, we will handle them as they come and day by day.  Logan is a miracle and we continue to be so thankful for him.

Maternity clothes? All the time.

20 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 20 weeks! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going.

Total weight gain: Didn't weigh myself again this week, really hasn't been a priority for me.
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Maternity clothes? Yes and wearing my belly bands to make my non maternity shorts last longer.
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee and some nights I just can't get comfortable and toss and turn a lot.
Best moment this week: Chris definitely felt Logan move this week! He thought he felt him while we were in Sedona, but there was no denying it this week.

Food cravings: Nothing.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY!!
Labor signs: Hopefully not for a very long time!
Symptoms: I can't think of anything new, Logan is a vey active boy and is constantly moving around in there.
Belly button in or out?  In, but I think it'll pop this pregnancy.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Our anatomy scan in a few weeks to see baby Logan again and I have another prenatal appointment on the 28th.

We set December 8th for maternity pictures and decided to go with a different photographer from who did Caleb's maternity and newborn. We're slowly getting Caleb's new room together with moulding and new baseboards so we can keep the nursery as Logan's room.  I don't want Logan to have a room facing the street, so it just makes sense to move Caleb.  We're contemplating waiting to buy Logan's furniture until tax time since he'll be in our room for several months after he's born and it's not a necessity right away.

Best moment this week: Finding out were having another BOY! Logan Thomas will be joining us some time in February and it's nice to give him an identity instead of calling him "baby".
Miss anything? Nothing this week.
Food cravings: Nothing.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: BOY
Labor signs: Hopefully not for a very long time!
Symptoms: Nothing new, still peeing all the time, my nipples are still very, very sensitive. Intense lower left back pain that seems to be worse first thing in the morning and after I vacuum/mop.
Belly button in or out?  In, but I think it'll pop this pregnancy.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Our vacation in Arizona!

16 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 16 weeks
Baby is the size of an: avocado
Total weight gain: I didn't weigh myself this week
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Maternity clothes? Yup and trying to do the hair tie trick with my non maternity shorts so I can wear them as long as possible.
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee and my lower left back is still hurting.
Best moment this week: I'm feeling baby's movements a lot more this week and they feel like little pops or like someone flicked my belly with their finger. It's so fun to feel baby and this is one active baby already.
Miss anything? Nothing this week.
Food cravings: Nothing different this week.  My "cravings" have subsided.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: I think baby is a girl, but I won't be surprised if it's a boy!
Labor signs: Hopefully not for a very long time!
Symptoms: Still peeing all the time and as soon as I pee I have to pee again. My nipples are still very, very sensitive. Intense lower left back pain that I'm pretty sure is due to a pinched nerve, but I'm enjoying the chiropractor so I'm still planning on going even if it's not actually helping the pain.
Belly button in or out?  In.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender this week!

15 Week Bumpdate

*I turned 15 weeks on August 21st*
How far along? 15 weeks
Baby is the size of a: navel orange
Total weight gain: I've maintained this week
Stretch marks? No new ones, but the few I got with Caleb seem to be more noticeable now.
Maternity clothes? Yup, my regular shorts aren't comfortable to wear at all any more
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee, but my lower back pain has been causing me to toss and turn a lot at night because I can't get comfortable.
Best moment this week: We decided on a new girls name and we both love it. We liked Bailey and were set on that name for years, but it seems to be a really popular name for dogs these days and I'm not going to have my daughter named after a dog 🤦🏻‍♀️ We bought a new family car!! We both love it and look forward to all the trips we'll be taking as a family of four.
We also hired a doula! I've always wanted a natural home birth, but Chris is not on board at all with a home birth. He feels much more comfortable having baby in the hospital so as a compromise, we'll deliver in the hospital but he agreed to hiring a doula to help us stay focused and on track with our birth plan while I'm in labor. I'm really looking forward to having a different birthing experience with this baby and having a doula help us through the contractions and reassure me that I can do this.
Miss anything? Nothing this week.
Food cravings: Nothing different this week.  My "cravings" have subsided.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: I've been guessing this whole pregnancy... in the beginning I thought girl for sure because I was breaking out, but other than that my pregnancy has been the same as it was with Caleb so I've been thinking boy.  But something tells me it's a girl.... or maybe I'm just mentally preparing myself for baby being a girl. My intuition is all over the place.
Labor signs: Hopefully not for a very long time!
Symptoms: Still peeing all the time and as soon as I pee I have to pee again. My nipples are still very, very sensitive. Intense lower back pain and I actually saw a chiropractor to help with it and I plan to continue seeing the chiro throughout my entire pregnancy.
Belly button in or out?  In.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender in just over a week!

14 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 14 weeks
Baby is the size of a: large lemon
Total weight gain: Up a couple pounds
Stretch marks? No new ones, but the few I got with Caleb seem to be more noticeable now.
Maternity clothes? I have worn a fitted maternity dress a couple of times this week and it was heaven.  I'm in stretchy shorts, leggings and skirts most days. Anything snug around my waist is pretty uncomfortable.
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice a night to go pee, but I do have the occasional night where I'm up 3-4 times to go pee.
Best moment this week: I'm fairly confident I felt baby move this week! I was 13+6 days when I felt it, but it felt like little popping in my lower abdomen right in the area where I hear baby's heartbeat with the doppler.
Miss anything? A Dos Equis sure looked tasty when we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant this week.
Food cravings: Spicy, sour, tangy foods... I've also been craving soups- hearty vegetable soups. I'd be lying if I said I didn't indulge in some Top Ramen this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: We'll find out in just about 2 weeks! How crazy is THAT!
Labor signs: Hopefully not for a very long time!
Symptoms: How come I haven't mentioned how much I've been peeing?! Oh my gosh, I pee all the time and as soon as I pee I have to pee again.  Trying to get out of the house is ridiculous because I have to go at least 3 times on the way out the door.  Other than that, it's a lot of the same- my boobs aren't aching as much but still ache every now and then and my nipples are still very, very sensitive. Almost every time I stand up or get out of bed I get dizzy and pulling pains on both sides of my lower abdomen. I've been getting pains in my lower back on either side as well, almost like sciatic pain but it doesn't shoot down my leg.
Belly button in or out?  In.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: I think the moodiness is subsiding, but I'm still pretty emotional.
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender at the end of the month!

Best moment this week: I had another prenatal appointment on Friday, 8/4, with the nurse practitioner and everything went well. Baby has a strong heartbeat in the 160s.
